I just placed an order for these. I am so excited!! How sad that I am more excited about a washer and dryer than how I used to get excited about a new pair of shoes?!?! I guess it's growing up.
The washer and dryer we have now in my grandmother's house are somewhere around 15-20 years old!! And when the dryer goes it makes the electric meter outside spin faster than the TWO window air conditioner units and all the fans on, etc. And sometimes it takes 2 cycles to dry heavier stuff, like jeans and my Hubby's lined khaki pants from Cabela's. And the washer drum squeaks so bad I have to shut the door if I am in the kitchen. Our electric bills have been through the roof, but that will all change in up to 20 business days....oh why make me wait so long for my beautiful front loaders?? Because it is the cheapest I have seen them ANYWHERE with the pedestals. We really didn't have much say on the size of them. The space that we have for a washer and dryer is limited due to the cabinets above so the smaller Sport it is.
This is just added to the gorgeous stove and dishwasher that we replaced as soon as we moved in. AND we brought our fridge that we had from our old house, that we bought new only about 4 years ago. That was NOT included in the sale of our house. That made all the stuff in the kitchen the same color, black. I am swimming in nice new appliances around here...oh and a little bit of debt. But it just had to be done. Gotta love interest free for a year!!
I'm doing a little happy dance ...now maybe I will enjoy a little laundry. Well, maybe not. That's pushing it. Maybe it won't be as much of a chore....maybe.

Happy Cinco de Mayo
I really don't have much of an idea of what this holiday is all about. Is it like the Mexico Independence Day? Is it just an excuse to drink Corona?
It is actually much like St. Patricks Day, Okoberfest and Chinese New Year are used to celebrate Irish, German and Chinese heritage in America.
I found this site that has the history of May 5th. If you really read it, it seems to be a battle in a war that the Mexican's fought on the same side as American's.
Mexican Independence Day is actually September 16th.
But what ever the reason, I love to have a nice cold Corona with lime (but not for me this year) and a few yummy tacos to celebrate too! :)
