Ice Cream Mama tagged me for a book meme. Whatever a meme is...
Here's what you do:
1. Pick up the nearest book.
2. Open to page 123
3. Find the 5th sentence
4. Post the next three sentences
5. Tag five people, and acknowledge who tagged you.
The book nearest to me is "Boys Should be Boys - 7 Secrets to Raising Healthy Sons" by Meg Meeker M.D. I haven't even got this far in the book yet.
Page 123, 5th sentence ....
"The very qualities which cause men to be attracted to women can often become the very qualities which men come to hate later in life. And the reverse is true. Some women are attracted to men because they are hard-working and show great commitment to their work. Later on, those same women complain that their husbands are workaholics and never around."
Holy CRAP! That has been my life the last few months. Hubby has been working all day and some really really late nights. And when the he is home, he's not really 'home'. He is upstairs working to get our rooms ready for us to get up there before the baby comes! I totally love that he is willing to work such long hours and overtime and then come home to make our home perfect for us, but at the same time I hate that he isn't here for everything. WAIT! I though this was supposed to be a book about raising my boys, not analyzing ME!! hahahha
Tag 5 people. If you don't do these things, that's ok. You don't have too. I don't have that much a reader base anyway, so I am picking, at random.
1. Modern Matriarch (it'll give you something to do while you are waiting for the baby! heehee)
2. House of Misfits
3. My Little Corner of Life
4. Canadian Thoughts in Texas
5. Tranny
